Dear Loyal Saturn of North Texas Customers, Vendor and Friends,

In the early days, Saturn manufactured its own cars at its own plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. In addition to innovating on the sales, service, and engineering sides of its business, Saturn's founding fathers spent a significant amount of time developing new manufacturing techniques that were based on some of the "best in class" processes used by companies from around the world which were but not limited to trust, respect, integrity and honesty.

It  is with sadness, that I informed my team this morning and you today, we are closing the doors of Saturn of Lewisville on March 16th, 2010.  Myself, my family and my team members were optimistic of our future here in Lewisville.  We reached out to manufacturers to transition our store. But as many of you have seen, we are in a heavily represented auto row.  We looked at transforming our facility into a stand alone preowned vehicle sales center with service but at the end of the day it didn't make financial sense.  We exhausted all efforts.

This decision comes from guidance through prayer, my supportive family and our executive team.

Thank you to each one of you for your business, for your friendship and for your loyalty.  Please come in and say your hellos and your goodbyes.  We want to see you in our store one last time. 

If you have anyone interested in a pre-owned vehicle, have them come see us.  We are selling the remainder of our pre-owned inventory at or below market value as well as parts, accessories, electronics and furnishings.

Please pray opportunities for my team members and their future as I begin to help them find employment elsewhere.  Please pray strength for my family as we follow the bumpy uncertain road God is setting in front of us. 

Through all of this I have learned to rely on God.  The journey He takes us on never ends the way it began, after all, I am ending my career with Saturn after 17 wonderful years.  God bless each of you and thank you for being loyal to the Saturn brand and our team.
